Announcing (in)RL 2013
{and a Moms Against Manic Mondays LINK UP}

We need each other.
To aid in our continual pursuit alongside one another,
to write good stories with our lives as mothers;

Motherhood being our highest calling, making disciples our best work,
and the joy of the Lord in the mundane: treasures daily to unearth.

I praise Him that He did not design womanhood to be a lone venture,
and as long as lives continue, whether or not separated by distance, you and I are in this together.

{a simple poem written recently for someone close,
but I extend it to you all, my sweet online friends}

(in)courage stated it pretty perfectly:

We love the online world, but there’s only so far a comment box can go to connect us. We’re looking forward to stepping through blog posts and into each others’ real lives...

Our God stated it perfectly too:

“For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”
~Matthew 18:20.
About (in)RL, by (in)RL:
(in)RL was born out of two years spent listening to women in the comments at (in)courage craving local, real life community.

Derived from the social media acronym “IRL” or “in real life,” (in)RL is an invitation to share what we’ve learned about community and encourage women with stories and suggestions for connecting deeper in real life.

Last year nearly 2,000 women from 24 countries participated.
You can read some of their stories here.
Think of it as a girl’s weekend away that doesn’t require packing or plane tickets, where women can kick off any expectation of perfect, set aside their fears, their shyness, their worry that they’re not good enough, and find some of Jesus’ words of rest woven into every video shared.

The (in)RL webcast kicks off on Friday, April 26th
and (in)RL Meetups follow on Saturday, April 27th

Meet up with old friends and new to spend a few hours in real life communityThink of it as a retreat where you don’t have to leave town. Just imagine thousands of women all over the world getting together in homes, coffee shops, restaurants, or churches – you name it – to connect in real life! We’ll be providing video content that meet ups can tune into, which explores the challenge to stay connected to our beautiful, messy, real life communities.
{So you. Your friends. Meet new friends. Be (in)couraged.
Eat Snacks. Even more awesome!}

I am soooo excited about this...

To register for the conference, head on over to (in)courage (IT'S FREE THIS YEAR!!), and then look for a meetup that is in your area & RSVP for it here.

Let's do this.
Let's get involved.  Let's commune.  Let's laugh heartily and grow abundantly.

Happy Monday beautiful ladies!!!

There are so many beautiful things about Mondays . . . Here at From My Mountain View, every Monday, we band together and renounce/reject manic Mondays.  Right here is a perfect place for us to encourage one another and be encouraged!
Moms Against Manic Mondays is a place you can share a post or article on your blog about:

Mondays  Encouragement  -  Joy  Pressing On  -  etc.
  • To share a link to your post just submit your link, title, & image using the widget at the end of this post (it's easy)!
  • Remember to link your blog post back here by adding our adorable button found below, courtesy of Plumrose Lane.
  • And then you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments (which is the heart of this community).

I bless you today with eyes to see them and hearts to recognize them -
the blessings in disguise.

Psalm 118:24 (amp)

"This is the day which the Lord has brought about;
we will rejoice and be glad in it!"

I desire to recognize what is my part of the "manic" in Mondays, and do what I can to change it.

I desire to live abundantly in the Mondays.
I desire to thrive in each day; to dance them in along with the sun.
