My Pregnancy Journal Week #37

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart.
Jeremiah 1:5

I prayed for this child, and the Lord granted me what I asked of Him. So now I give him to the Lord.
1 Samuel 1:27-28

“Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is placed in her bosom to be nursed and trained! Could she have but one glimpse into the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into it’s soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny, –she would see that in all God’s world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no others hands the sacred and holy trust given to her.” -JR Miller

How far along are you?  37 weeks today!  Happy November everyone!!  Baby is a comin' soon.  :-)

Baby's growth?  Naomi is about the size of a stalk of Swiss chard. (Really?  Swiss chard?  They couldn't come up with anything else to compare the size to?  LOL) -- approximately 6 and 1/3 pounds and a bit over 19 inches, head to heel.  :)  #ILoveBeingPregnant
Medical Stuff/Prayer Requests? Yall... *sigh* I am sick. I did however receive a good report from my doctor today though. I do NOT have the flu OR step throat, so it's good to know that it's "just a cold."  I've been to my nutritionist/herbalist to get what I need to feel better soon, so yay.  Also, despite the daily Braxton Hicks contractions that I've had for the last week, I am still at only 1 cm dilated. This was VERY good news to me because that means I should have time to get well before baby comes.  In a nutshell, I've been having trouble not giving ground to fear this week because of concern about not being well and strong when this baby comes. I've had babies at 35, 37, and 38 weeks in the past. So not knowing if this will be my 40ish weeker or if my body will go early this time around again has left me in the uncomfortable unknown.  (but then again, isn't birth always stepping into the unknown?)  I would greatly appreciate a few more lifted up on my behalf for health, strength, and energy in time for labor/delivery. <3Thank you so much, sweet friends.  ♥
