Moms Against Manic Mondays LINK UP

Happy Monday beautiful ladies!!!

There are so many beautiful things about Mondays . . . Here at From My Mountain View, every Monday, we band together and renounce/reject manic Mondays.  Right here is a perfect place for us to encourage one another and be encouraged!  Moms Against Manic Mondays is a place you can share a post or article on your blog about Mondays, encouragement, joy, pressing on, etc, etc.  :)
  • To share a link to your post just submit your link and title using the widget at the end of this post (it's easy)!
  • Remember to link your blog post back here by adding our adorable button found on the side-bar, courtesy of Plumrose Lane.
  • And then you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments (which is the heart of this community).  :)

She shared this week's challenge to play soft music throughout your home and to focus on keeping peace in the house.  Love it!  She also recommended some relaxing  "Autumn" music to inspire you, "Autumn in New England" by David Huntsinger.

Featured Post:
"Walking In the Spirit"

I was highly encouraged in my role as a momma facing the start of a new week by this post shared by Angela over at Call Her Blessed.  Here is an excerpt of what she shared:
Walking in the Spirit.
I just can't seem to get away from this thought lately.
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. ~Galatians 5:16
If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. ~Galatians 5:25
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. ~Romans 8:14

My day-to-day walk glorifies God so much more when I am walking in the spirit. My thoughts are right ... my speech is right ... my attitude is right. I find myself being less frustrated over the little things.  I'm kinder & have more patience.  When I choose to walk in the Spirit, as opposed to walking in the flesh, I have an eternal focus. I tend to look at things from heaven's point of view ... in light of eternity. It's pretty easy to become focused when I think of anything in light of eternity.  To walk in the Spirit is to follow His leading, allowing Him to guide my steps and conform my mind.
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. ~Isaiah 26:3
There are great benefits to crucifying the flesh & walking in the spirit. By faith, choosing to rely on Him to guide me in thought, word, & deed, I can demonstrate daily, moment-to-moment holiness which brings honor to God.  Another benefit of walking in the Spirit, my life can show forth the fruit of the Spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. {Gal.5:22-23}

Walking in the Spirit is allowing His Word to dwell in us ... living His Word out loud! When I allow His Word to dwell in me, my heart is filled with thankfulness, singing, & joy!

To read this post in its entirety, I highly encourage you to hop on over to Call Her Blessed, here.
