I come to You when I'm flailing about. I come to You when I'm drowning. I come to You when thick fog of discouragement has clouded my view. You are my stronghold. You are my lifeboat. You are the light to my situations, surroundings, and pathway. I am able to press on in You. I can press on as I press into You. I tenderly linger in Your courts today as I go about my tasks. Help me to comfort and guide my children today when they need it of me, instead of them becoming the recipients of my soul down-trodden. Help me to recognize their similarities to me in their tenderness. Give me Your strength to walk in the perspective that my children may need similar from me today what I find myself needing from You. You are my God, and in You I place my trust! David encouraged himself in the Lord. Teach me to do the same! In Jesus' name, Amen!
