Moms Against Manic Mondays Link Up
"Let the Children Come"

Happy Monday beautiful ladies!!!

There are so many beautiful things about Mondays . . . Here at From My Mountain View, every Monday, we band together and renounce/reject manic Mondays.  Right here is a perfect place for us to encourage one another and be encouraged!  Moms Against Manic Mondays is a place you can share a post or article on your blog about Mondays, encouragement, joy, pressing on, etc, etc.  :)
  • To share a link to your post just submit your link and title using the widget at the end of this post (it's easy)!
  • Remember to link your blog post back here by adding our adorable button found on the side-bar, courtesy of Plumrose Lane.
  • And then you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments (which is the heart of this community).  :)
Moms Against Manic Mondays - A Day to Encourage & Be Encouraged.
Let's press on together as we dance in the mornings. :)

Thanks so much to everyone for joining the link-up and for sharing your super encouraging words!  If your blog is one of the featured posts this week, I hope you might feel free to grab my button from the side-bar that reads, "I Was Featured On From My Mountain View," to post to your blog or this week's Moms Against Manic Monday post! :)
Readers Choices from last week:

"Praying For Your Children"
This was shared by Cathy over at Thoughts On Books.  She shared the overwhleming truth that sometimes "it's hard being a parent... So it's refreshing and comforting to know that God is for us, not against us when it comes to raising our children. We are not alone." She includes a wonderful list of prayers from scripture to pray over our children!

This was shared by L over at All Glorious Within.  She shared how much she has been gaining from the book 'Pure' by Rebecca St James and this bible study group (That I am also apart of!) -- She reads Truth.

She shares particular insight from Proverbs chapter 14:

"I feel God has been showing me that I need to be careful, particularly with my words and tone not to tear anyone down and change the atmosphere in my home to one where people feel unloved, not valued, or uncomfortable because of my mood."

Also Featured this week:
I was thoroughly encouraged by this post, shared by Sheena over at An Imperfect Life - Made Perfect By GraceShe shared on a new blog series she will be beginning this week that I highly encourage all of you, my friends, to check out!  :)
Here is an excerpt of what she shared:
But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)
I believe this verse is a direct instruction to me as a parent. It is my responsibility to let my children come to Jesus. I have to lead them towards Him and not hinder them in any way. At times the responsibility weighs heavily on me – to raise sons who will be men after God’s own heart, who will love Him and seek His will in their lives. But all my efforts would be in vain if not for God’s grace and favor in my children’s lives.
Based on this verse, I’ve been inspired to write a series of blog posts titled “Let The Children Come”. It will be a 5 part series, posted every Wednesday starting next week (if all goes according to plan). Each week, we’ll be focusing on one way we can bring our children to Jesus. I will be sharing simple and practical tips that my husband and I follow in leading our children closer to God.
