My Pregnancy Journal #27
::The Joy of Pregnancy & Childbirth::

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart.   {Jeremiah 1:5}

I prayed for this child, and the Lord granted me what I asked of Him. So now I give him to the Lord.
{1 Samuel 1:27-28}

“Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is placed in her bosom to be nursed and trained! Could she have but one glimpse into the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into it’s soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny, –she would see that in all God’s world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no others hands the sacred and holy trust given to her.” {JR Miller}

How far along are you?  27 weeks today!

Baby's growth?  Naomi is approximately the size of a head of cauliflower -- about 2 pounds and 14.5 inches long.  :) #ILoveBeingPregnant

Discussion Question:  What is your favorite thing about pregnancy?
My answer - There is something so special to me about being pregnant.  I always enjoy pregnancy.  Even before anyone can tell I am pregnant, each baby has been a reality to me; so conscience of her/his presence there inside me.  And I walk aware of this consciousness almost constantly; not unlike how a joyful secret thrills your insides as you keep it to yourself but aren't able to hide it from your face.  And then the thrill of joy grows as the life is delivered into mine and my husband's arms.
The only other feeling I have experienced that could be paralleled to being pregnant and delivering a baby is witnessing someone born again into the Kingdom of Heaven through salvation in Christ Jesus.  The deep spiritual feeling occurs in both: the thrill of bringing forth new life.
