Moms Against Manic Mondays Link Up Party / Blog Hop
"God's Love In Action"

Happy Monday beautiful ladies!!!

There are so many beautiful things about Mondays . . . Here at From My Mountain View, every Monday, we band together and renounce/reject manic Mondays.  Right here is a perfect place for us to encourage one another and be encouraged!  Moms Against Manic Mondays is a place you can share a post or article on your blog about Mondays, encouragement, joy, pressing on, etc, etc.  :)
  • To share a link to your post just submit your link and title using the widget at the end of this post (it's easy)!
  • Remember to link your blog post back here by adding our adorable button found on the side-bar, courtesy of Plumrose Lane.
  • And then you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments (which is the heart of this community).  :)
Moms Against Manic Mondays - A Day to Encourage & Be Encouraged.
Let's press on together as we dance in the mornings. :)
--------------------------------------
Thanks so much to everyone for joining the link-up and for sharing your super encouraging words!  If your blog is one of the featured posts this week, I hope you might feel free to grab my button from the side-bar that reads, "I Was Featured On From My Mountain View," to post to your blog or this week's Moms Against Manic Monday post! :)

Readers Choice from last week:
"Shine Your Sink"

This was shared by Jen over at Extra*Ordinary.  She shared encouragement if you "are feeling overwhelmed or behind with your housework... just start with the sink.  You'll be amazed at the difference.  AND you'll be amazed at the discipline."

Also Featured this week:
"A Dollar & Some Change"

I was thoroughly encouraged by this post, shared by Donna over at Fully Mothering. She shared on " God’s provision. God’s love in action."
Here is an excerpt of what she shared:
I’m sure this woman, and the cashier along with anyone else in line, thought I was making a huge deal about  just $1.17…and I was.
But it wasn’t about the amount. It was about the act.
This woman had blessed me. She allowed herself to be, whether she knew it or not, yet another example of God’s provision for us.
She made my day!

...This woman had looked outside of her own bubble and saw a need, just as my friends had. Not a big need, but a need, and had acted on it. Something we don’t see often enough. Something we don’t do often enough.

Something I don’t do often enough.

It was a gentle reminder of love. Love for others. A reminder to look outside of my own bubble. My own family. My own needs.

Sure, my family is hurting…a lot. But we’re not the only ones. Many people are in need or hurting. In fact, MOST people are, and if we just open our eyes, get out of our comfortable little bubble and pay attention, we’ll see opportunities. Opportunities to love. To bless. To fulfill a need.

It may be your friend who is going through difficult times and could use some groceries, or it may just be the hurting stranger in front of you in line at the store.

Who knows? Maybe $1.17 is all it will take to make someone’s day.

Give thanks to the Lord!  His love endures forever!

  1. Thank you so much for sharing my post! I was in shock when I saw this. I am still humbled and baffled at the fact that my writing inspires anyone in any way. You have blessed me and made my day :)
