Empowered for the Impossible
:: Mom's Against Manic Monday Link-Up! ::

Happy Monday beautiful ladies!!!
There are so many beautiful things about Mondays . . . Here at From My Mountain View, every Monday, we band together and renounce/reject manic Mondays.  Right here is a perfect place for us to encourage one another and be encouraged!
Moms Against Manic Mondays is a place you can share a post or article on your blog about Mondays, encouragement, joy, pressing on, etc, etc.  :)
  1. To share a link to your post just submit your link and title using the widget at the end of this post (it's easy)!
  2. Remember to link your blog post back here by adding our new adorable button found below, courtesy of Plumrose Lane.
  3. And then you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments (which is the heart of this community).  :)

Repeat this with me:
I am empowered to do the impossible.
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus my Lord!
Righteousness is not achieved from my right-doing, it is instilled & innate in me from my right-being in Him.  Romans 4:5 says, "But to one who, not working [by the Law], trusts (believes fully) in Him Who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited to him as righteousness (the standing acceptable to God)."
I am a human being, not a human doing.   I will always be found right where I am intended to be: in the very center of His love and His purpose in me.

"Jesus loves you. Everything begins and ends there. We are the ones who over-think and complicate the simple with our doubts and questions and unbelief. Here's an idea: invite the Holy Spirit to invade your thoughts and bring Light. Stop in the moment to realize God's presence. He is waiting to comfort and bring peace. He wants you to know how much He loves you. No fluff. Just real."

  1. Sometimes I wonder why I insist on clinging so hard to what to my own self-righteousness which is filthy as rags. I love how you said we are human Beings. Not Human Doings. I've spend so much of my life trying to do. It's like once I got salvation, I had to make sure I deserved to keep it. Crazy!

    Growing daily in His grace,

    1. Hey Mary Beth! :) I have spent so much of my life doing exactly opposite of what I wrote in this post too. Hearing those words, "You are a human being, not a human doing," completely changed my perspective of myself and began to help change the way I relate to God. Thank you for sharing! :)

      With love,
      Rebecca
