Fear of the Unknown
::5 Minute Friday::

I really enjoy joining the link up over at Gypsy Momma, and write for five minutes flat on Fridays. "5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking...because we want to, not because we have to...for fun, for joy, for discovery.
We just write without worrying if it’s just write or not.
[This Week's Word - Tender]
Ready. Set. GO.

Tender is the heart of the one who meditates on the unknown, waiting for the proverbial truth; searching through internal file cabinets with hope the answer is already within.  Tender from vulnerability.
When met by the unknown, something in the near future that could go towards either extreme, we are met with two choices: fear or excitement.  Fear of the unknown brings anxiety, worry, doubt in the goodness of your Creator.
Excitement concerning the unknown brings anticipation, expectancy, and peace in the knowing that the sonnet is already written; He knows it like the back of His hand; and you are safe in His hands no matter the circumstance.

  2. Thanks for this! I loved the part you wrote you about either feeling fear or excitement. I can either fear that the pain of losing my girls will haunt for the rest of my days or I can live with excitement in the Promise of the Cross in that I will see them again.
