Confession Friday via "Not Me"

“Not Me” – Bravely confessing some of my (or my family’s) faults, failings and quirks by denying them.

We recently sold our TV on Craigslist.  The TV that we Aaron had connected to our computer via S-Video cable so we can watch Netflix on all the lovely 37 inches of it instead of our 13 inch monitor.  So last night when the hubby and I wanted to have an "at home movie date" together, we did not move our humongous green couch around to be across our living room diagonally to be able to see the tiny screen comfortably, and we most certainly did not leave it that way over night to greet our very surprised little girls this morning.

We did not make 4 boxes of pudding and one pie just to quickly use up the milk carton that was on its way out.

I did not leave baby poop clothes soaking in our bathroom sink for two days because I was tired and just didn't want to have to deal with it.

My husband, Aaron, is a stickler for utilizing all the possible space available in a trash bag, and I did not throw a granola bar box away without tearing it up first (just to watch him later pull it out, smile at me, and rip it up himself).

And the only thing that I feel really feel sadness over: I most certainly did not go an entire month without playing the piano and three months without playing the guitar!

Those are my confessions for the day, how about yall?

  2. I love the part about the milk...I do stuff like that all the time. I'll make a cake b/c my eggs are going bad...and just this morning I noticed that I have half a carton of milk that will expire tomorrow. So, I was trying to figure out what to make that would take up a good portion of that milk! :) I'm glad I'm not the only one!!!
