Prune Me

Cut closer to the very core of me
You are not only taking self away and out of me
You are making room
Room to bloom
Go beyond rearranging priorities
To the heart of what defines me
Stretch me farther than where I feel my limits may be
Be the ruler of everything I cling to
For bearing much fruit in You is what I want to do
Even when surrender doesn't feel like an option
Self wrestling in me
Fearing trust
Until this transaction is done
I am honored to love all you have given me
I pass over the rights of ownership to You
Help me see
You are all I desire
